Meet the artist behind the camera
I’m Barry, a photographer and filmmaker based near the border of west London and Surrey. I photograph weddings across the UK and abroad, capturing the kind of memories that stay with you. My journey began in my early twenties, working in some of London’s busiest clubs, learning how to photograph fast-moving moments in difficult light. That early experience taught me to trust my instincts, to feel the atmosphere, and to work with subtlety and precision.
Over the years, I moved from nightlife to brand events, lifestyle sessions, and editorial work, but nothing ever came close to the emotional pull of weddings. There is something about the energy of a wedding day, the way it brings people together, that continues to inspire me every time I pick up a camera.
Photography with feeling
Weddings are full of emotion. There is joy, tension, anticipation and love all layered into one day. My role is to capture that with honesty and care. I do not direct or stage moments. I stay present, observe quietly and photograph what feels real. My style blends documentary storytelling with an artistic eye, so that the final images reflect not only how your day looked, but how it felt to live through it.
Couples often tell me they forgot I was there. That is exactly what I aim for. I want you to stay grounded in the experience, surrounded by the people you love, while I focus on preserving the details, the emotion, and the energy. When you look back at your photographs, I want them to bring it all back.

Outside of weddings, I continue to photograph events, lifestyle sessions and creative work throughout London, but the heart of what I do will always be storytelling. Photography is not just about capturing what happened. It is about understanding what matters and making it last.
